Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Sensor alarms E-1 and E-2 or Er 3 and Er 4
  2. Display cable or control problems
  3. Temperature alarms Er 6 and Er 7
  4. Warm cabinet from a dirty condenser
  5. Door gasket wear

This group covers Delfield’s reach-in refrigerators and freezers: the 6000XL, the Select 6000, the Specification Line and the ACR models. Model numbers seen on these include ACR-26S and F18RC99. The control is either a Danfoss display, which shows codes such as E-1 and E-2, or an ERC2 display, which shows Er 1 through Er 7.

We read the code first, since it names the sensor, the cable or the alarm limit behind the problem. Then we check the gasket, the condenser and the coil. Many of these cabinets have been in service for years.

Older units are in our scope. The price is written down before we start, and a cabinet not worth repairing gets an honest verdict. Tell us the code and the model on the data plate when you call to schedule service.

FAQDelfield 6000XL and Select 6000 Reach-In Refrigerators and Freezers questions
Which display does my Delfield reach-in have?

Danfoss displays show codes like E-1 and E-2, and ERC2 displays show Er 1 to Er 7. Read us what appears and we match it to the control.

Can you work on older Specification Line cabinets?

Yes. Older Specification Line, 6000XL and Select 6000 cabinets are part of our work, and the price comes in writing first. A quick phone note of the code helps us bring parts.

What do Er 6 and Er 7 mean?

On the ERC2 display, Er 6 means the temperature is below the low alarm setpoint and Er 7 means it is above the high alarm setpoint. Check food temperature, then call us.
