The Titan is Jade’s super heavy duty gas range. JTRH is the standard line, JTRHE is the step-up and JMRH is the modular version. Model numbers include JTRH-6-36, JTRH-4-30, JTRH-48G, JTRH-36G-36, JTRH-3HT-36 and JMRH-Broiler. The tops can be open burners, a manual or thermostatic griddle, hot tops, French tops, a plancha or a charbroiler.
Standard ovens use standing pilots, and the convection oven uses an electronic re-igniter, so a convection oven that will not light is a different kind of problem from a pilot that is out. The maker’s manual notes that poor ventilation affects the pilots, and heavy grease makes that worse.
We check the pilots, burners, thermostat and gas pressure. A gas smell means you leave first and phone the gas utility from outside. Older ranges are in our scope, with a straight answer if one has reached the end.

What is the difference between JTRH and JTRHE?
JTRHE is the step-up version of the JTRH range. The data plate gives the exact model, and we use it to confirm the parts. We also confirm the series by the data plate.
Why will my convection oven not light?
The convection oven uses an electronic re-igniter. We check it, its power and the gas supply, since a pilot is not involved the way it is on the standard oven.
Do you repair older Jade ranges?
Yes. Older Jade ranges are on our list. The price is written first, and we flag any repair that would not pay. Our labor is warranted for 30 days here as well.
