Jade’s Bistro series is a group of cook tops and bases, along with the Supreme countertop unit. These are smaller pieces of gas cooking equipment for kitchens that need a compact line.
A Bistro piece that refuses to light sends us first to the gas supply, the pilot and the burner ports. For uneven flames we clean the burners and check the air shutters. If the unit has an oven base, we check the thermostat and the door seal.
If gas is ever in the air, leave first and let the gas utility know from outside. Read us the model from the data plate when you call. Plenty of older Jade equipment can be repaired, and the rest gets a frank no. Compact lines still need regular burner cleaning.

Why is my Bistro burner uneven?
Clogged ports or a shutter set wrong. Cleaning the burner and resetting the flame usually evens it out, and we check the pilot as well.
Do you repair older Jade equipment?
Yes. Older Jade cooking equipment is part of our work. The quote is written, and a repair that would not pay off is flagged. We stand behind every repair for 30 days.
