- ASQ II
Repairs this series usually needs
- Spray arm tips clogged
- Detergent, rinse aid or sanitizer container empty
- Water level not reaching the decal when filling
- Pump filter or basket problems
- Cloudy glassware
The ASQ II is an undercounter carousel glasswasher that sanitizes with chemicals. Each batch takes about 72 seconds: roughly 40 seconds of wash, 14 of drain and flush and 21 of refill and rinse. A red START button runs the cycle, and FILL and DRAIN switches handle the tank. The data plate reads ASQ II.
The rinse water stays in the tank and becomes the next wash, so standing water after a cycle is normal. The hot water comes from the building heater, and the maker does not recommend tankless on-demand heaters. Common calls are clogged spray arm tips, empty chemical containers and a fill that does not reach the level decal.
Drain the machine before you remove the pump filter basket. Wear the gloves the chemical maker calls for. Pricing is written down and agreed before we repair anything.

- Cycle is 40 seconds of wash, 14 of drain and flush and 21 of refill and rinse

Is standing water in the machine normal?
Yes. The rinse water is kept in the tank and used as the next cycle's wash water, so some water stands after a cycle. Drain it as the owner's instructions say.
What do the chemical colors mean?
Red is the detergent, blue is the rinse aid and green is the sanitizer. Check each container, and call us if a pump will not draw. Never bypass a pump.
Why are my spray arms not washing well?
The arm tips clog with soil and scale. The maker says to clear them with a toothpick. If glasses stay dirty, call us and we test the pump and the arms.
