The RC-62-3 is a Blakeslee rack conveyor with a single wash tank and a prewash section. Versions include the standard machine and the HR, DR24 and HR+DR24. Because it has a prewash, the display can show M alarms for that tank, such as prewash filling failure or prewash pump thermal protection.
When an RC-62-3 shows an alarm, the owner’s steps are to check the water inlet, cycle the power once and make sure the cold water line to the prewash is open. After that, we test the probes, the cooling valve and the pumps. Scale and food soil from kitchens clog strainers and nozzles, which raises the load on the pumps.

Why does the prewash need cold water?
