- Scale in the tank
The SW series is Insinger’s line of utensil washers, in models SW-12, SW-14, SW-25, SW-36, SW-48-RI and SW-78-RI. The RI models are roll-in versions that take a cart. Your machine’s data plate carries the model.
Utensils bring in a lot of food soil, so most problems begin at the strainers and wash arms. After that we check the tank temperature, the pump and the door switch. Scale from water collects in the tank and slows heating, and doors and seals can leak. On the roll-in models we also look at the door and the floor track.
Clean the strainers every day, which the owner’s manual calls for. If utensils still come out dirty, call us. The cost is agreed before work, and the repair labor has a 30-day guarantee.

What does RI mean in SW-48-RI?
RI marks a roll-in version, where a cart rolls into the machine. Read the full model from the data plate, and we match parts to it.
Why are my utensils coming out dirty?
Clogged strainers, clogged arms or a cool tank are the usual causes. Clean the strainers and call us if the problem stays. We then check the tank temperature and the pump.
Do you repair roll-in washers?
Yes. The SW-48-RI and SW-78-RI are ours to repair, with the cost quoted before any work. Give us the full model from the plate, such as SW-48-RI, and the cost is quoted first. The labor is covered for 30 days.
