Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Group head and gasket leaks
  2. Boiler heating problems from scale
  3. Steam valve leaks
  4. Pump pressure and flow problems

The E61 line is the classic Faema group design. The Legend is the semi-automatic machine in S1, S2 and S3 versions, and the Jubile is the automatic in A1 and A2 versions. Some are still sold and many older ones remain in service in cafes.

The version on the front tells us which group controls and dosing parts are involved. The common jobs are gaskets and screens at the group, steam valve leaks, scale in the boiler and a pump that has lost pressure.

On an older E61 we sort the repairs that pay off from the ones that do not. Owners keep to the filter and backflush; boiler and valve work is ours, quoted in writing first. Read us the version name from the front, such as S2 or A1, and we line up the parts.

FAQFaema E61 Legend and Jubile Espresso Machines questions
What is the difference between Legend and Jubile?

The Legend is the semi-automatic version, in S1, S2 and S3. The Jubile is the automatic version, in A1 and A2. Tell us the version, since the dosing parts differ.

Why does my E61 group leak?

The group head gasket hardens with age and heat. It is a common job, and we look at the screen and the valve in the same visit.

Do you repair older E61 machines?

Yes, they are common and we repair them. The quote is written first, and if a repair would not pay off, you hear it before any work starts.
