Repairs this series usually needs
- Blade that does not turn
- Uneven slices from a dull knife or gauge plate
- Carriage drag
- Sharpener that does not work
- Motor overload
The Bizerba VS12 series are 12 inch slicers, and the models include the VS12, VS12C, VS12F, VS12F-P, VS12W and VS12D. Some are current and others are older units still sliced on daily delis and grocery counters.
Unplug the slicer before cleaning or checking the blade, and never reach past the guards. If the blade does not turn, we check the motor, the belt and the switch. Uneven slices point to a dull knife or a gauge plate out of adjustment, and a carriage that drags needs cleaning and a look at the bushings.
The VS12 line includes current and older slicers, and both are common delis. We give a written price first, and we tell you plainly when a worn motor or carriage makes a repair not worth it.

Which models are in the VS12 series?
The VS12, VS12C, VS12F, VS12F-P, VS12W and VS12D. The letters mark versions, and the data plate shows the full model number we use to confirm parts.
Why are my slices uneven?
A dull knife or a gauge plate that has drifted is the usual cause, and we sharpen or replace the knife and adjust the plate.
What do the letters after VS12 mean?
They mark versions of the slicer. Read the full model number on the data plate and give it to us when you call, so we confirm the right parts.
