Repairs this series usually needs
- Table warm from a dirty condenser or blocked airflow
- Coil sensor or air sensor alarm on the display
- Evaporator ice and defrost not ending
- Worn lid or door gasket
- Water on the floor from the condensate pan
The 18600 Series covers Delfield’s refrigerated work tables with a backsplash, with model numbers such as 18648BSTMP, 18672BST-E, 18691BUCM and 186114BSTMP, plus the CTP8146-NB and CTP8160-NB prep rails. The first digits give the width in inches. A suffix of -E marks the export version.
Newer tables use R290 refrigerant, so we leave the sealed system alone unless we are testing it, and older ones used HFC-404A. The ERC112 display shows alarms such as E01 and E02 and the Lo and Hi limits. We read it, then check the condenser, the lid and pan top seal, the coil and the defrost.
Older 18600 tables are still common in kitchens. A repair that would not pay off gets an honest verdict, and the price is written first.

How do I read an 18600 model number?
The digits after 186 give the table width in inches, so an 18672 is a 72 in. Table. Letters such as BSTMP, BUCM or PTB describe the top and the pan setup.
Why is my prep table warm with the lid closed?
A dirty condenser, blocked airflow or a worn lid gasket is the usual reason. We check those first, then the coil, the fan and the defrost.
Do you repair older 18600 tables?
Yes. Older Delfield tables are work we do. You see the price in writing before we begin, and we say so if a repair would cost more than it returns.
