Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Strainers clogged by heavy soil
  2. Tank temperature low
  3. Pump or seal problems
  4. Scale in the tank
  5. Rack or conveyor jams

The CPW80A and CPW100A are Hobart pot and pan rack machines from the older C-Line family. Heavy soil from roasting pans and sheet pans is what they handle, and that soil is what usually causes their problems.

When one cleans poorly, we start with the strainers and the wash arms, then the tank temperature and the pump. Scale in the tank and on heating parts is common with water. Racks and the conveyor path are checked for jams.

These are older machines, and some are better replaced, which we say honestly. We confirm parts by the model on the data plate before the visit. Tell us the plate model when you call, and what the machine does when it cleans poorly, so we arrive with the right parts.

FAQHobart CPW80A and CPW100A Pot and Pan Machines questions
Are CPW machines still repairable?

Yes. We repair them as an older line still in service. The cost is quoted first, and on a machine this age we say if a repair is not worth it.

Why do my pots come out dirty?

Clogged strainers, a cool tank or clogged wash arms are the usual reasons. Clean the strainers daily, and call us if the pots still come out dirty.

Is there a pot and pan cycle on newer machines?

Yes, the CL44e has an NSF pot-and-pan cycle. The CLe line is ours to service as well as the CPW machines, with the cost quoted before any work.
