Repairs this series usually needs
- Proofer that will not reach set temperature
- Heat timer alarm oT that sounds if the proofer is slow to heat
- Humidity overshoot alarm oH
- Clock or timer lost after a power loss
- Water fill or humidity problems
The LBC LRP is a roll-in proofer in single, double and triple-wide widths and depths from 30 to 240 inches. A P at the end marks a pass-thru version, and the models include LRP1, LRP2N, LRP2S, LRP3, LRP Max-1, LRP15 and LRP2. The PID controls sit in the door.
The control has alarm settings. An oT alarm is the heat timer alarm and can sound when the proofer is slow to heat, and oH is the upper humidity alarm. We check the water fill, the heating element and the humidity sensing, and the door seal. Humid weather and hard water both change how a proofer behaves.
The PID control in the door gives us useful readings, and its alarm settings explain a lot. You get a written price first, and we tell you honestly if a repair is not worth making.
About this series
- Roll-in proofers, single, double and triple-wide
- 30 to 240 inches deep
- P marks a pass-thru version
- PID controls in the door
What does the oT alarm mean?
It is the heat timer alarm. It can sound if the proofer is slow to reach temperature, so it is a clue that heating is weak.
Why does my humidity overshoot?
The humidity control, the sensor or the water fill may need attention, and we check them in turn. Water quality can play a part as well.
What does the oH alarm mean?
It is the upper humidity alarm, so it sounds when humidity climbs past its limit. We check the humidity control, the sensor and the water fill.
