Taylor Slush Machine Error Code H2O Pressure Low: Out of Water
On the Taylor C300 slush freezer, H2O Pressure Low means the water out indicator shows a lack of water. After a 60 second timer, all freezing cylinders shut down, and the message clears when water is replenished. Check the shutoff valve and the water filter, and look at the line.
Medium: all cylinders stop freezing, but the usual cause is a supply that can be restored.

What does Taylor H2O Pressure Low mean?
The slush mix on the C300 is made with water, and an indicator tells the control when the supply has run out. When it does, the control starts a 60 second timer. If water does not return during that time, all freezing cylinders shut down and the display shows H2O Pressure Low. The product stops freezing in every barrel. The message clears when water is replenished. A shut valve, a clogged filter or a low supply from the building stops the machine, and these are things you can check without opening the freezer. The manual lists the water shutoff valve, the water filter, the water line for kinks and leaks, and the water out sensor. Water pressure can drop for building reasons as well, such as another fixture in use at the same time, so a brief outage can come and go. If water is clearly present and the message stays, the sensor is the next suspect.

What you may notice
- H2O Pressure Low appears and every barrel stops freezing
- No water flows when the supply line is checked
- The message clears itself when the water comes back
Possible causes
Listed in Taylor's documentation
- The water shutoff valve
- The water filter
- The water line for kinks and leaks
- The water out sensor
Other likely causes — what usually sits behind H2O Pressure Low on this control. A technician confirms which one it is before any part is replaced.
- A shutoff valve closed during a plumbing repair and not reopened
- A filter cartridge clogged with sediment after a water main flush
Safe checks before calling for service
- Check that the water shutoff to the machine is fully open.
- Look at the water filter and replace it if it is overdue.
- Check the line for kinks and for leaks, and wipe up any water.
- If the message stays with water present, call us and tell us when the filter was last changed.
How a technician diagnoses H2O Pressure Low
- Read the message and check water pressure at the machine.
- Check the shutoff valve and the filter condition.
- Inspect the line for kinks, restrictions and leaks.
- Check the water out sensor with water present.
- Verify the cylinders restart once the supply is back.
- Replace the sensor or filter only after the test.
- Water lines and electrical connections sit side by side in the freezer, so work there risks a shock.
- Judging a sensor problem from a supply problem takes a meter and a pressure gauge.
- A leak behind the machine can soak wiring before it shows on the floor.

Why do all cylinders stop?
After the 60 second timer, the control shuts down every freezing cylinder because the mix needs water.
Does it clear on its own?
Yes, when water is replenished.
Should I change the filter?
If it is overdue, yes. A clogged filter is one of the manual's listed reasons.
