Crathco Slush Machine Error Code Err: System Over Temperature
Err with a continuous buzzer is the system over temperature alarm, a safety that protects the compressor. Turn off all switches, then deal with the same causes as the Filter Cleaning alarm: a dirty filter, poor ventilation or nearby heat.

What does Crathco error code Err mean?
Err is the protective stop of a granita machine that has run too hot. When the unit overheats, the system goes to OFF and the compressor stops, while the augers keep running so the product does not set into ice blocks. A continuous buzzer sounds. The manual describes it as a safety that protects the compressor. Its instruction is to turn off all switches, determine the condition using the Filter Cleaning alarm list and apply the same corrective actions. In other words, Err usually follows from the same reasons as Filtr: a dirty filter, a unit placed too close to a wall, a filter that is not installed properly, or a heat source close by. After the cause is cleared and the unit has cooled, it can be started again.
