Huebsch Quantum Washer Error Code EC19: No Card Reader Communication
EC19 on Huebsch Quantum frontload and topload washers means the control cannot communicate with the card reader at all. Switch the washer off and on again, retry the card, and check that the reader face is not cracked or wet. Keep the washer out of card service if the code returns, and call us to book a three-hour arrival window.
Medium: card payment is fully down, but the wash circuits are unaffected.
What does Huebsch error code EC19 mean?
Here the control gets no answer from the card reader whatsoever, and it displays "EC19". Customers see a washer that will not take cards, and the display shows the code. Coin handling is separate. The manual's owner step is a power cycle. If the code returns every time, the reader may be unplugged, disconnected at the cable, or not powered. Its list gives a disconnected or broken reader cable at either connector, no power reaching the card reader, and a dead card reader that never answers the control. This is the most complete form of card reader failure in the Quantum list: the reader is not slow to start, as in EC11, and it did not drop out later, as in EC18. It simply never answers. That makes the cable ends and the reader's supply the cheapest things to establish first.
