What does Huebsch error code EC:19 mean?
Card-equipped Huebsch toploads use a reader that talks to the MDC control through a cable and a port. After a swipe, the reader sends the card's information to the control. EC:19 means that conversation is not happening at all: the control sends a request and gets no answer, or hears nothing from the reader. Customers swipe a card and nothing starts, with the code on the display. Coin handling, where fitted, is separate and can still work. The manual gives no owner step beyond a restart, so we start with the reader's cable and power, then the reader, and finally the control's port. The manual's list is a damaged cable between the topload control and card reader, no power reaching the card reader, a card reader that has stopped working, and a reader port on the control that is not responding. No communication leaves all of them under suspicion. A cracked reader face or moisture on it is worth a look. The display text is EC:19. Leave the washer out of card service until it is checked.
