It covers reach-ins, pass-thru cabinets with doors on both sides, and roll-thru cabinets for carts. Read the number on the data plate, such as an STA1DT-2HS-HC, to place yours.
Pass-thru and roll-thru cabinets get opened from both sides, so the door seals, hinges and switches take more wear than a standard box. We check those first, then the condenser, the defrost cycle and the control.
Because so many variations exist, we ask for the full number before the visit. It lets us confirm the door type, control and parts, and avoid a second trip. Roll-thru versions also need a look at the floor ramp and the sill, where cart wheels do their damage, and the lower door edge that tears gaskets first.

Why is a pass-thru cabinet harder on gaskets?
Staff open it from both sides all day, so each door gets double use. Gaskets and hinges wear sooner, and a door that does not seal warms the box.
Can you repair a Spec Series cabinet with a glass door?
Yes. Glass doors add heater and seal checks to the usual work, and we confirm the part numbers from the plate first. We check the gaskets on both sides of a pass-thru.
