The CHEFTOP MIND.Maps PLUS and the BAKERTOP MIND.Maps PLUS are current Unox countertop combi ovens, electric or gas. The model starts with XAVC, followed by the tray size. The 05 and 10 versions take GN 1/1 trays, and the 06FS and 10FS versions take 18×26 in bakery trays.
Look at the letters near the end: E is electric and G is gas. When one of these ovens gives an alarm on the screen, it stops heating, and we find the cause by testing rather than guessing from the alarm alone. We check the water supply and scale first, then the fan, the door seal and the core probe. On gas ovens we check the exhaust pipe and the ignition.

The 06FS and 10FS models are made for 18x26 in bakery trays rather than GN 1/1 trays. The control and cleaning work the same way.
My Unox alarm has no number. What do I do?
Tell us the words or symbol on the screen and when it appears. Because the alarm table is not easy to read, we test the water, the fan and the probe to find the cause.
Can a gas CHEFTOP be repaired on site?
Yes. A gas smell means going outside and phoning the gas utility before anything else. Otherwise we check the exhaust pipe, the flue and the ignition parts and give a written price.
