Model numbers in this series
Find yours on the data plate. Letters after the base number usually mark the voltage, finish or door and do not change the repair.
- XEVC-0511-E1RM
- XEVC-1011-EPRM
- XEBC-06EU-GPRM
- XVC
- XBC
Repairs this series usually needs
- Scale in the steam parts
- Door seal and fan wear
- Cleaning cycle problems
- Core probe not reading
- Gas ignition on gas models
Some kitchens still run older Unox combi ovens that came before the current MIND.Maps PLUS line. The model codes we see include XEVC-0511-E1RM, XEVC-1011-EPRM, XEBC-06EU-GPRM, and the plain XVC and XBC. They are earlier combi lines, and several carry MIND.Maps controls.
The model on the oven is the best guide, because the current model names may not apply. Tell us the letters and numbers you see, and we plan the visit around them. Most calls are scale, a worn door seal, a slow fan or a core probe, and we test to find the cause.
These ovens are old enough that we say early if a repair is not worth it, and we write the price down before we begin any work on one.

Not exactly. The older models use codes such as XEVC or XEBC. The cooking idea is the same, but parts and controls can differ, so we confirm before the visit.
Can scale really ruin an older combi oven?
Over the years, yes. Hard water leaves scale on the steam parts. Descaling on schedule keeps older ovens reliable, and we inspect them for it.
Will you repair an older XVC or XBC?
We look at it. If parts can be found and the cabinet is sound, we repair it and quote in writing first. If not, we tell you plainly.
