Repairs this series usually needs
- Oven will not hold temperature
- Gas burner not lighting
- Pilot out
- Uneven bake
The WF Series covers Marsal’s wood-fired and gas deck ovens. The two models we service are the WF 42 and the WF 60, and the number is on the data plate. These ovens are known as wood-fired and gas deck ovens, so there is more to check than on a plain gas deck.
On the gas side we check the pilot, the safety valve and the burner. An oven that cannot keep its temperature sends us to the thermostat and the gas supply. Uneven baking leads us to the burners and the hearth. We also look at the chamber and the flue for soot, because blocked draft makes any deck oven hard to control.
Notice gas at all? Clear the kitchen and notify the utility from outside. Pricing is written down before the job.

Do you repair the gas side of a WF oven?
Yes. We check the pilot, the safety valve, the burner and the thermostat. The wood-fired side we inspect for soot and blocked draft that can affect the bake.
What are the WF 42 and WF 60?
They are the two WF models we service. Read us the data plate number and we will know which one you have, with parts confirmed before we arrive.
My WF oven is uneven. What do you check?
We look at the burner flames, the hearth and the flue. Poor draft or clogged burner ports are common causes.
