The AXP22 and MXP22 are the current Amana Xpress high speed combination ovens with a touch panel. A main board runs the oven, a display and USB board shows messages, and the touch panel takes your input. The model list also shows MXP22MK, MXP22WY, MXP5221 and MXP5223.

The error codes are letters and a number without a dash. A0 and H2 point to the main board, A2 to the display board, B0 and B1 to the touch panel, C to the temperature sensor, D to the thermocouple, G0 to overheating and G2 to a magnetron cut-out or the cooling motor. We begin with the filter and the vents, then the sensors and the boards.

A2 points to the display board, which shows messages and passes touches to the main board. A0 and H2 point to the main board, so the letter and number together tell us which board to test.

How do I tell an AXP22 from an AXP20?
