Repairs this series usually needs
- Machine that will not start although it is installed correctly because the lid or pusher is not locked
- Manual-reset breaker that trips when overloaded or run too long
- Poor cuts from a dull or wrong disc
- Bowl seal and blade shaft seal leaks
- Motor that hums without turning from a start capacitor or belt
The Robot Coupe combination processors put a cutter bowl and a continuous-feed vegetable station on one base. They include the R 101, R 2 N, R 301, R 401, R 402, R 502 and R 702, with Plus, Dice, CLR, Ultra and V.V. Versions. V.V. Means variable speed.
Unplug the machine before changing a blade or disc, and never reach past the lid or pusher. If it will not start, the lid and pusher interlock and its magnet are the first checks. A manual-reset breaker that trips points to an overload or a long run. A leaking bowl seal or shaft seal needs a teardown.
With so many R-series versions, the exact model matters for parts, so tell us the full name from the data plate. A written price comes first, and we are honest when a repair would cost more than the machine.

Mean?
It marks a variable-speed model. The data plate shows the full model name. Variable-speed versions can fail to change speed, and we test the control.
Why will my machine not start?
The lid or pusher may not be locked, or the interlock or its magnet may need attention, and we check those first. Then we move on to the start circuit and the motor.
What does the manual-reset breaker do?
It trips when the motor is overloaded or has run too long, protecting the motor. If it trips on ordinary loads, we look at the motor, the belt and the start parts.
