Repairs this series usually needs
- Machine that will not start because the lid is not locked
- Breaker that trips on overload
- Poor results from a dull blade
- Seal leaks
- Motor that hums without turning
The Robot Coupe Blixer is a bowl blender and cutter in one. The models run from the Blixer 2, 3, 4, 5-2V and 5 V.V. Up through the 7, 7 V.V., 8, 10, 15, 20, 23, 30, 45 and 60. V.V. Marks variable speed, and the number is the bowl size.
Always unplug the machine before checking the blade, and never reach past the lid. If it will not start, the lid interlock is the first check. Seals that weep at the bowl or shaft mean the machine has to be opened up. Hot soups and heavy purees load the motor and seals in busy kitchens.
Hot soups and heavy purees put real load on a Blixer, so seals and motors earn a regular look. You see a written price first, and we tell you plainly if a repair would not be worth it.

It is the bowl size in quarts, so a Blixer 30 has a 30 quart bowl. The data plate shows the full name, and we use it to confirm blades and seals.
Why will my Blixer not start?
The lid may not be locked or the interlock may need attention, and we check them in turn. Then the start circuit and the motor, before any part is ordered.
Can I process hot product?
Follow the owner's manual for your model. Hot product loads the seals and motor more, so if you notice leaks or hot smells, stop and call us.
