The Aurelia II is an older Nuova Simonelli line, built as the S, V, Digit and T3. The volumetric and Digit versions use a doser to measure each shot, and the control reports problems in capital letters on the display, such as LEVEL ERROR, DELIVERY ERROR and OVERCURRENT ERR.
Many of the messages are about timing and water. A shot that runs long shows FINE GRINDING, and one that runs short shows COARSE GRINDING, and both are grinder settings, not a breakdown. LEVEL ERROR and the 130 C message are about the boiler and need a technician if they return.
The Aurelia II is an older line still in service, and we repair it, and tell you plainly when a repair is not worth it.

What does LEVEL ERROR mean on my Aurelia II?
The boiler water level was not restored after 90 seconds, so the pump and heater stopped. Check the water supply, then turn the machine off and on, and call us if it returns.
Is FINE GRINDING a machine problem?
Usually not. It means delivery took much longer than the set values. Change the grinding degree and test a shot. If shots stay slow, the screen or pump needs a look.
Can an older Aurelia II be repaired?
