Repairs this series usually needs
- Grinder will not start
- Dose that is inconsistent
- Grind setting that drifts
- Worn burrs after heavy use
The E37 is Ceado’s on-demand espresso grinder family, in the E37S, E37Z, E37J and E37K versions. The E37Z comes as the Barista, the Hero and the Naked, so the full name on the data plate matters when we order parts.
An on-demand grinder grinds each dose as you pull the shot, so a dose that is off or a grind that drifts show up straight away in the cup. We start with power and the hopper, then clean the chute and the doser, and then check the grind setting and the burrs.
Burrs wear with volume in any busy bar. If worn burrs or a larger repair would not pay off on an older grinder, we say so, and every quote is in writing first.

What is the difference between E37S and E37Z?
They are different versions of the E37 family, and the E37Z comes in Barista, Hero and Naked. The full name on the plate tells us which parts to bring.
Why does my grinder drift out of tune?
Worn burrs and fines packed in the chute are the usual causes. We clean the chute, check the setting and the burrs, and report what we see.
Do you repair older E37 grinders?
Yes. We read the version off the data plate, write the quote first, and if an older grinder is past a sensible repair, we say so.
