Common Ceado problems we fix
In plain words, the way kitchen and laundry staff describe them when they call.

Dose is inconsistent
Grind setting drifts
Burrs worn
Doser leaking or sticking
Ceado Models We Service
The Ceado grinders we repair are the E37 on-demand espresso grinders. The line includes the E37S, the E37Z in its Barista, Hero and Naked versions, the E37J and the E37K. Some are older grinders that cafes have run for years, and we repair them along with the current ones.
When an E37 will not start, we begin with the power supply, the switch, the hopper position and the motor. When the dose is inconsistent, we look at the dose setting, the way beans feed from the hopper and the condition of the burrs. A grind setting that drifts through the day usually means worn burrs or an adjustment that no longer holds, and we set it again and test the result.
Burrs and Cleaning
Burrs wear with use, and the longer a grinder works, the more uneven the grounds become. Shots then run too fast or too slow, and baristas keep chasing the grind. We inspect the burrs, tell you whether they are worth replacing, and give you the price in writing before we start.
Coffee oil and fine dust collect in the chute, and humid air, common in Miami and Houston, makes grounds clump and stick. We clean the path while the grinder is open. If your model number is on the data plate, have it ready when you call. Older grinders deserve an honest answer, so we tell you plainly if a repair is not worth the cost. Our work carries a 30-day warranty.
