What does Kolpak HIGH MONITOR TEMP2 mean?
The Deluxe Display can read extra temperature sensors as monitor inputs, which are used to watch a spot other than the room control sensor. Monitor2 is the second of these. The controller compares the Monitor2 reading with the high limit MON TMP2 HI ALRM. Being above it is not enough. The reading has to stay above for longer than MON TMP2 AL DLY, which keeps the alarm from firing during a short warm spell. When both are true, the text alarm HIGH MONITOR TEMP2 appears in the Alarms menu. The manual does not say what Monitor2 is attached to; that depends on the installation. It might watch product, a shelf, or a second zone. The alarm is separate from the sensor-failure alarms, since the controller got a valid reading. It sounds again after one hour if the reading stays high.

What is Monitor2?
It is the second extra temperature input on the Display. What it watches depends on the installation.
Is this the same as HIGH MONITOR TEMP2 ALARM?
They describe the same condition on different setups. This one is for the OEM controller with Display. The other is for the stand-alone Display.
Do I need to throw out product?
Check the actual temperature with a thermometer and follow your food safety rules. The alarm alone does not say how long it was high.
