What does Kolpak HIGH DOOR TEMP ALARM mean?
The stand-alone Display compares the door temperature with a high limit built on the High Door Alarm Offset. A reading above that offset starts the Door Temp Alarm Delay. When the delay ends and the door is still too warm, the text alarm HIGH DOOR TEMP ALARM appears in the Alarms & Variables menu. The wait lets a short warm spell, such as a door open for a delivery, pass without alarming. The alarm needs a valid reading, so it is about temperature and not a sensor problem. The manual gives no causes. A door area is usually the warmest part of a walk-in because that is where outside air enters, so a door that does not seal or is left open is the first thing to check, though the manual does not say so. It tells the operator to scroll the menu to see active alarms and lists a DISP CLEAR ALARM variable for clearing alarms set in the Display.

Is this the same as DOOR TEMP HIGH?
The idea is the same. DOOR TEMP HIGH is the OEM controller alarm. This one is for the stand-alone Display.
Will closing the door fix it?
If the door was the cause, the temperature should fall and the condition should end.
Why does it wait before alarming?
It waits for the Door Temp Alarm Delay, so short door openings do not alarm.
