Kolpak Walk-In Cooler Error Code DOOR TEMP SENSOR ALARM: Temp 1 Open or Shorted
DOOR TEMP SENSOR ALARM means the Temp 1 input is shorted or open. On the stand-alone Display, Temp 1 reads the door temperature sensor, so that reading is lost. Scroll the Alarms & Variables menu to see active alarms and have the sensor and lead tested.
Low: the door temperature reading is lost, and the manual does not say cooling stops.

What does Kolpak DOOR TEMP SENSOR ALARM mean?
On the stand-alone Deluxe Display, the first temperature input, Temp 1, is the one used for the door temperature sensor. The Display checks that circuit each time it reads. If the input is shorted, or open because of a broken lead or an unplugged sensor, there is no usable resistance reading and no door temperature. The Display then posts the text alarm DOOR TEMP SENSOR ALARM in the Alarms & Variables menu. The manual gives only that meaning, Temp 1 input shorted or open, and does not list causes. The high and low door temperature alarms need a valid door reading, so they cannot act while this alarm is active. The alarm does not say the door is warm or cold. The manual lists a DISP CLEAR ALARM variable for clearing alarms set in the Display.
