What does Kolpak LOW DOOR TEMP ALARM mean?
The stand-alone Display compares the door temperature with a low limit built on the Low Door Alarm Offset. A reading below that offset starts a timer, the Door Temp Alarm Delay. When it ends and the door is still too cold, the text alarm LOW DOOR TEMP ALARM appears in the Alarms & Variables menu. The delay prevents a short dip from alarming. Since the Display has a valid reading, this is a temperature alarm, not a sensor alarm. The manual gives no causes. A door that runs colder than set could be caused by cold supply air blowing near the door, a setting that is too low, or a sensor that is reading low, but the manual does not name any of these. It tells the operator to scroll the Alarms & Variables menu to see the active alarms and lists a DISP CLEAR ALARM variable to clear them.

Is this the same as DOOR TEMP LOW?
The idea is the same. DOOR TEMP LOW is the OEM controller alarm. This one is for the stand-alone Display.
Can it freeze product at the door?
Yes, if the door area really is that cold. Move delicate items.
Why the delay?
The Display waits for the Door Temp Alarm Delay so brief dips do not alarm.
