What does Kolpak LOW MONITOR TEMP2 mean?
Monitor2 is an extra temperature input on the Deluxe Display, and it has both a high and a low alarm limit. This alarm is the low side. The controller compares the reading with MON TMP2 LO ALRM. A reading under that limit starts a timer, and only if it stays under for longer than MON TMP2 AL DLY does the text alarm LOW MONITOR TEMP2 appear in the Alarms menu. The delay prevents alarms from short dips, for example just after a defrost or when a cold item is placed near the sensor. The alarm says the reading is low, but it does not say why. The manual lists no causes. A low reading can mean the area is too cold, which can freeze product, or that the sensor is in a cold draft. It sounds again after the one-hour silence if the reading stays low.

Does a low reading mean the sensor is broken?
Not necessarily. A broken sensor gives a separate sensor alarm. Here the reading is valid but low.
How is this different from HIGH MONITOR TEMP2?
This is the low limit alarm and the other is the high limit alarm for the same input.
Can product freeze?
Yes, if the area really is that cold. Check with a thermometer and move delicate items.
