What does Kolpak LOW MONITOR TEMP3 mean?
Monitor3 is one of the extra temperature inputs on the Deluxe Display, and it has a low limit named MON TMP3 LO ALRM. The controller reads the sensor and compares the value with that limit. If the temperature is below it, a timer begins. When the reading has stayed below the limit for longer than MON TMP3 AL DLY, the text alarm LOW MONITOR TEMP3 appears in the Alarms menu. A short dip, for example in a cold draft during defrost recovery, is ignored. The manual states no causes and does not describe any change to cooling when the alarm is raised. Whatever area Monitor3 watches is simply colder than the setting allows. In a cooler that can mean frozen produce or drinks; in a freezer it may be harmless, depending on the limit. The alarm sounds again after one hour if the reading stays low.

Is LOW MONITOR TEMP3 only for coolers?
No. It compares the reading with MON TMP3 LO ALRM, whatever that is set to. In a freezer the limit would be far lower.
Why does it say longer than a delay?
The controller waits for MON TMP3 AL DLY so that short dips do not trigger an alarm.
Will it return after I silence it?
Yes, after one hour, unless the reading has come back above the low limit.
