The DW is the Beverage-Air deep well bottle cooler, with eight numbers such as DW49HC, DW49HC-29 and DW64HC. The cooler opens from the top into a deep well, and most use an Eliwell controller, with alarms AH1, AL1 and OPd and probe codes E1 to E4.
A deep well loses cold air each time the lid opens, and warm bottles are loaded in bursts. We check the lid gasket first, then the condenser and fans, then the probes. An OPd alarm means the lid has stayed open too long.
If AH1 shows, check the lid and load before you call. Keeping bottles below the load line helps the well hold its range, and we mention it if we see the cooler loaded too high.

The lid or door has been open longer than the set time. Close it, and if the message stays, call us. The alarm clears when the lid closes.
Is E1 on an Eliwell the same as E01 on a Danfoss?
They look alike but belong to different controls. We check which you have. They look alike, but they belong to different controls with different numbering. We read the display wording to tell which control your cooler has.
Why does my well cooler frost up?
Humid air through a worn lid gasket freezes on the cold walls. A new gasket usually fixes it. We also check the drain in the well.
