Repairs this series usually needs
- Watchdog Timeout after a power spike
- Overtemp Error
- Overload Error
- Jar leaks
The Blendtec Connoisseur is a bar blender with an LCD control. The models are the Connoisseur 825 and the Connoisseur 825 Spacesaver. Bars use them for frozen drinks.
A Watchdog Timeout means normal operation of the control was disrupted, usually by power fluctuations or spikes. Overtemp Error means the motor is overheating, and Overload Error means it is overloaded. Disconnect the cord before the jar comes off, and keep fingers clear of the blade. A jar that leaks may not be seated, or the shaft may be loose.
Bars rely on the Connoisseur for frozen drinks, so downtime hurts. We quote in writing, and a blender that is not worth saving gets a plain answer. We check the jar and the lid as well.

What causes Watchdog Timeout?
Power fluctuations or spikes upset the control. Turn the blender off with the switch for 10 seconds, then on, and call us if it keeps coming back.
What triggers Overtemp on a Connoisseur?
The motor is overheating from an overfilled jar, thick ingredients or poor airflow. Wait for it to cool, and call us if it will not work after 20 minutes.
Can power spikes damage a Connoisseur?
They can upset the control and trigger a Watchdog Timeout. A surge protector helps, and we check the control if messages repeat. A written price comes first, before any board is ordered.
