Blendtec Models We Service

Blendtec’s Stealth series are above-counter and in-counter blenders with a sound enclosure and a touch interface. They include the Stealth 875, 885 and 895 NBS, the Stealth X, and the Stealth Nitro. The Connoisseur 825 and Connoisseur 825 Spacesaver are bar blenders with an LCD, and the Chef Blender, Chef 775, Chef 600 and EZ 600 are kitchen blenders.

Display Messages

A Touch Error appears when more than one touch sensor is touched, or when an icon is stuck on. An Overtemp Error means the motor is overheating, and the blender stays disabled until it cools; the maker suggests allowing 20 minutes or more. An Overload Error is an overload on the motor. The Stealth 875 and 885 also list messages such as Temp. sensor not detected, Zero crossing not detected and Touch controller not detected, and Cancel or cycling power clears them. A Watchdog Timeout on the Connoisseur 825 usually comes from a power fluctuation or spike. The Chef 775 shows E-01 through E-06 on its LED information center.

Overtemp problems come from an overfilled jar, hard or thick ingredients, or poor airflow around the base. A jar that leaks usually has a lid that is not seated or a loose jar shaft, and the jar then needs replacing.

You get a written price before work and a 30-day warranty, and we say plainly when an older blender is not worth repairing.

FAQBlendtec questions
What does Overtemp Error mean on my Blendtec?

The motor is overheating, so the blender is disabled until it cools. An overfilled jar, thick ingredients or poor airflow are common reasons. If it keeps happening, we test the motor and controls.

What causes a Watchdog Timeout on a Blendtec Connoisseur?

A power fluctuation or spike usually disrupts the control. If it happens often, we check the outlet and circuit and then the control board, and quote the price in writing.

Why does my Blendtec jar leak?

The lid may not be seated, or the jar shaft may be loose, in which case the jar needs replacing. We check both and give you a written price.
