Repairs this series usually needs
- Motor that will not start with the lid or pusher not seated
- Poor cut quality from a dull or wrong disc
- Overload trips on heavy product
- Seal and shaft leaks
The FP100, FP150, FP250 and FP350 are Hobart’s countertop continuous-feed food processors. They slice, shred and dice vegetables by passing them over a disc, and the model number is on the data plate. Prep cooks lean on them all shift in busy kitchens.
Unplug the processor before changing a disc or checking the blade, and never reach past the guard. If the motor will not start, the lid and pusher interlock is the first check. A cut that tears instead of slicing often means a dull or wrong disc, and a leak at the shaft points to the seal.
Prep kitchens lean on these processors all shift, so a clear, honest estimate matters. You get a written price before we start, and a unit that is past a sensible repair gets a plain answer from us.

Which processors are in this group?
The FP100, FP150, FP250 and FP350 are the countertop continuous-feed models. The model number on the data plate tells you which one you have, and we use it to confirm parts.
Why will the motor not start?
The lid or pusher may not be seated, so the interlock keeps the motor off. If both are seated and it still will not start, call us and we test the interlock and the motor.
Do discs wear out?
Yes. A disc that tears vegetables instead of cutting them cleanly is dull or the wrong one for the job. We can advise on replacement, and the processor should be unplugged before any disc is handled.
