Lang’s ECCO and ECO ovens are electric convection ovens in many versions, from the ECCO-AP and ECCO-C to the ECCO-SII and the ECO-7M. The data plate has the exact model, and the letters after ECCO show which version you have.
The checks follow what you see on the oven: a power indicator that stays dark leads us to the outlet, the cord and the switch. A cold oven leads us to the probe or thermostat, the contactor and the elements. A motor that refuses to turn sends us to the transformer and the motor itself. Uneven baking leads us to the door seal, the fan and loading.

Read the data plate. The letters after ECCO, such as AP, C, PP, PT or SII, show the version. Tell us the full model when you call so we can confirm parts.
Why will my Lang oven not heat?
The probe or thermostat, the contactor or the elements are the usual places to look. We test each in turn, and nothing is replaced until the price is on paper.
Do you repair older ECCO ovens?
Yes. Older ovens are common in kitchens and we repair them. If a repair makes no sense we will tell you frankly, and the work we do carries a 30-day warranty.
