The ECOD-AP and ECOF-AP are full-size electric convection ovens from Lang with a computerized control and a probe. The model name is on the data plate. These ovens do not give display error codes, so we work from the problem you see.
When the power indicator is not lit, we check the outlet, the cord, the switch and the indicator light. When the oven will not heat, the probe, the circuit board, the contactor, the over-temperature thermostat and the elements are the places we look. A motor that stays still sends us to the transformer and the motor. Product that burns or comes out undercooked points us to the probe or the board, and a computer control that is suspect can be tested with the manual backup.
Older Lang ovens are on our repair list, and we say so when a repair is not worth the money.
