The Super Jolly is Mazzer’s long-running grinder-doser with 64 millimeter burrs, and you will find it behind a great many espresso bars. The Super Jolly V Up adds electronic dosing, set through a password menu, and the Super Jolly Electronic is listed as well.
When a Super Jolly will not start, the usual finds are power, the hopper not sitting right and the safety microswitch that watches it. When the dose is wrong, we clean the doser and adjust the dose. When the grind drifts, the grinding disk needs re-adjusting, and burrs wear out after heavy use.
Older units are common and we repair them. We tell you plainly when worn burrs or a motor repair are not worth it for the age of the grinder.

Why will my Super Jolly not start?
Check power and that the hopper is seated, since a microswitch watches its position. If it still does not start, call us and we test the switch and the motor.
What is the V Up password menu?
The V Up has electronic dosing, and its settings sit behind a password. If the dose is wrong, we can check the settings with you, and the manager may hold the password.
When should burrs be replaced?
Burrs wear with volume, and shots then drift or taste flat. We check the grind and the burrs on site, and you see the price in writing before any work.
