Repairs this series usually needs
- Mix not freezing to the right thickness
- Beater and drive problems
- Draw valve and seal leaks
- Refrigeration problems from dirty condensers
The Taylor C706, C707 and C709 are soft serve and heat-treatment freezers, found in restaurants, shops and kiosks. They are busy machines with a freezing cylinder, a beater, a draw valve and a refrigeration system, and each of those wears in its own way.
When product comes out too soft or too hard, we check the mix, the beater and the freezing cylinder before the refrigeration side. Leaks at the draw valve and seals are common, and a dirty condenser leads to high pressure and shutdowns in hot weather.
Owners handle mix, cleaning and the air space around the machine. We do the refrigeration, drive and electrical work, with a written price first, and tell you plainly if an older freezer is not worth a bigger repair.

Do you service Taylor soft serve freezers?
Yes. We service the C706, C707 and C709. Tell us the model and what the product is doing, so the likely parts and the right tools come with the technician on the first visit.
Why does my soft serve come out too soft?
Mix, the beater, the freezing cylinder and the refrigeration side can all cause it. We check the mix and the drive first and then the refrigeration.
How does heat affect a soft serve freezer?
Heat and a dirty condenser raise pressure and can shut the machine down. Keep the air space clear and the condenser clean, and call us if it repeats.
