U-Line makes a wide family of undercounter refrigerators: Origins 1000, Echelon 2000, Modular 3000, 1 Class, 5 Class, Home, ADA and Marine versions. Models include the 1115R, 1224R, 2175RF, 2275DWR, 3018R, 3024DWR, ADA24R and URRE324. Different generations use different controls, so the control type matters.
The first-generation 2075 and 2015 boards show LED flash patterns. The Echelon 2000 and the Origins use E-codes: thermistor codes, door alerts, and warnings when the cabinet runs 10 degrees off set point. A refrigerator in showroom mode looks alive but never cools.
Built-in cabinets trap heat, so we check the grille and airflow first. A new unit also needs 24 hours after plug-in before E5 means anything. Tell us the full model number from the label when you call.

How do I know which control I have?
The model number tells us the series. Early 2075 and 2015 boards use LED flashes, and Echelon and Origins models show E-codes on a display.
Why is my refrigerator not cooling at all?
It may be in showroom mode, which keeps the compressor and fans off. We also check the sensors, the condenser and the airflow around the cabinet.
How long after plug-in should I wait?
The Echelon 2000 needs about 24 hours to pull down after a fresh plug-in before an E5 means anything. Judge the cabinet only after that time.
