Repairs this series usually needs
- Pilot out or will not stay lit
- Uneven heat across the plate
- Thermostat calibration off
- Yellow or lifting burner flame
The ASA series sits alongside the AGM in Wolf’s heavy duty gas griddle range, and also comes in 24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 in. Widths. Model numbers run from ASA24 to ASA72. The thermostat is manual or snap action, depending on the unit.
On an ASA we begin with the pilot and the burners, then the thermostat and the plate. A griddle that heats unevenly may have a dirty burner, a weak pilot or a plate that has warped from heat. We also check how the grease trough drains and whether the unit is level.
When you notice a gas smell, leave the kitchen and let the gas utility know from outside. Older griddles are repaired with the price in writing first, and we flag the ones where repair is a poor spend.

They are separate series in the same family of heavy duty gas griddles, and both come in 24 to 72 in. Widths. The data plate tells us which parts you need.
Why does my griddle plate warp?
Repeated heat cycles and heavy loads can warp a plate over time. We check whether the plate is flat and go over the options with you.
Do you repair older ASA griddles?
Yes. Older Wolf griddles are within our service. Quotes are in writing, and a repair not worth doing is called out. The estimate comes first, in writing.
