Continental Girbau Inteli Washer Error Code 2: Inverter Communication
Code 2 means the inverter and the microprocessor are not communicating. Turn the washer off for a minute and restart it once. If code 2 returns, a technician should check the incoming line voltage and the communication cable.

What does Continental Girbau error code 2 mean?
On an Inteli washer the microprocessor sends speed commands to the inverter, and the inverter turns them into motor action. They talk over a communication cable. If the microprocessor stops hearing the inverter, it halts the cycle and displays 2 (Inverter communication failure). The manual's checks are about the three things the link depends on. The incoming line voltage to the inverter should be within 10 percent of its rating. The communication cable should be clean and fully seated at both the microprocessor and the inverter. Machines at RMG055 and smaller also need the discharge resistor and earth checked, while machines at EH060 and larger need the inductor checked. The sheet does not list failed-part causes for this code, so the diagnosis follows the checks.
