Repairs this series usually needs
- Warm bottles at the back of the cooler
- Door gasket wear from heavy bar traffic
- Condenser clogged by dust and spilled sugar
- Probe codes on the display
- Glass door fogging
The TBB is True’s back bar cooler, the low cabinet behind a bar that holds bottles, kegs and mixers. Plate numbers such as TBB-1-HC and TBB-2-HC give the number of sections. Forty numbers are in the group, and both refrigerator and freezer versions exist.
Back bar coolers live in a hard place. Doors are opened constantly, the floor is wet, and sticky spills reach the condenser and the gaskets. We start with the gaskets and the condenser, then the drain, which can clog with sugar and glass bits. Next we check the control and the fans.
After a busy weekend a bar cooler may run all night to recover, so a service call is best placed on a slower weekday. We recheck the cooler after a busy period if you tell us when it struggles, so the repair is tested under real load.

Frequent door openings let warm air in faster than the cooler can recover. A clean condenser and good gaskets help it keep up. Slow weekdays suit repairs.
Can spilled soda damage the cooler?
Yes. Sugar sticks to gaskets and clogs drains and condensers. Regular cleaning prevents most of it, and we clear what has built up. A weekly wipe-down is plenty.
Do you service the freezer versions?
Yes. We check the heater defrost and probes on freezer versions and use the plate number to confirm parts. A freezer version needs its heater tested too.
