Repairs this series usually needs
- Beer pouring foamy or warm
- Cabinet warm from a dirty condenser
- Door gasket wear
- Hi alarm
- Drain clogging
The DD is the Beverage-Air direct draw beer dispenser, with 41 numbers such as DD24, DD24HC and DD24HC-1. Kegs sit inside the cooled cabinet and lines run straight to the taps.
Warm beer foams. So when a DD pours foam, we check the cabinet temperature against what the beer needs, then the condenser, the gaskets and the fans. The draft lines and faucets are separate from the cooler, and we tell you if the cooler is fine and the problem is elsewhere.
A clean condenser and good gaskets matter most, and a bar’s spills make both harder to keep clean. Keeping the area around the cooler dry protects both the gaskets and the floor, and we point out drips that need attention.

Beer that is too warm foams. If the cabinet temperature is above range, we check the condenser, gaskets and control. A clean coil keeps beer steady.
Do you service the taps?
We repair the cooler. If the cabinet is cold and the beer still foams, the draft system is the next place to look. Foam alone does not prove the cooler is to blame.
Can a keg cooler freeze beer?
Yes. A Lo alarm or a wrong sensor reading can run it too cold. We check the set point and the sensor. We check the alarm limits too.
