Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Mugs not frosting
  2. Frost build-up on the glass door
  3. Door gasket wear
  4. Dirty condenser
  5. Sensor codes

The FLG is the Beverage-Air glass froster, a cabinet that chills beer mugs so they frost. The model on the plate is FLG24HC. It runs colder than a refrigerator and is opened often.

When mugs stop frosting, we check the door gasket, since a leak brings moisture that fogs the glass, then the condenser, the defrost and the fans. We also test the sensor. A froster that has been running too warm for days may have lots of frost to clear first.

Tell us what the cabinet is doing and when it changed. Keeping the door closed between mugs helps the cabinet stay cold, and we recheck the temperature before we leave. Frosters run colder than refrigerators and are opened many times a day, so frost on the glass or the door frame often points to the gasket. We also check that the drain is clear and that the condenser is clean.
