Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Door alert after five minutes
  2. Thermistor open codes E1 to E4 and shorted codes E5 to E7
  3. General ER error
  4. Dual-zone door codes E0 and E9 on the Class Series
  5. Warm cabinet from restricted airflow

U-Line beverage centers keep drinks cold in home bars, offices and hospitality spaces. Examples are the 1024BEV, 1224BEV, 2218BEV, 2224BEV, 3036BVWC, HBV524, URBV324, 2175BEV, 1175BEV and the U-Chill models. They share the controls of the refrigerator series.

A door left open for five minutes starts a tone once a minute. On dual-zone Class Series units, E0 means the upper door is open and E9 means the lower door is open. E1 to E4 are open thermistors, E5 to E7 are shorted ones, and ER is a general error.

Built-in installations trap heat, so we check the grille, the condenser and the door seal before the sensors. Tell us the model and the code on the display. Tell us the model number and the code on the display when you call.

FAQU-Line Beverage Centers questions
What does the door tone mean?

The door has been open for more than five minutes. The unit sounds a tone once a minute until you close it fully and the seal catches.

What if I see E0 or E9?

On dual-zone Class Series units those are door alerts: E0 for the upper door and E9 for the lower. Close the door and check the seal.

Do you repair U-Chill models?

Yes. Give us the model number and what the display shows, and we plan the visit and the parts. The U-Chill models share the same basic controls.
