Repairs this series usually needs

  1. Time display showing --:-- while the belt is turning
  2. Oven not heating to temperature
  3. Conveyor belt slow or not turning
  4. Control box running hot from poor ventilation
  5. Uneven bake from clogged air fingers

The Impinger II 1100 series is the older Lincoln conveyor oven with a time and temperature display instead of a digital push-button control. Look at the data plate for a model number from the 1100 family, such as a 1116, 1132 or 1163. Gas and electric versions share the family number.

On these ovens we start with what the display is telling us. A –:– time reading with the belt turning points us to the Hall-effect belt sensor. Heat problems lead us to the thermistor probe and the thermostat. We also check that the control box can breathe, because a cooling fan that starts when the box warms up cannot do its job under a layer of grease and dust.

Many of these ovens have years left in them. If an oven has reached the end of its useful life, you will hear that from us, and you will have the price on paper before we begin.

FAQLincoln Impinger II 1100 Series Conveyor Ovens questions
How do I tell an 1100 series from a newer Impinger?

Read the model number on the data plate. The 1100 family has numbers like 1116 or 1132 and an older display. The Advantage Digital version carries a letter suffix such as 1116-000-A.

Do you repair 1100 series ovens that are decades old?

Yes. Older Impinger II ovens are regular work for us. You see the cost in writing first, and an oven too far gone to fix gets an honest word from us.

Why does the control box matter on these ovens?

The control box has a cooling fan that comes on as it warms. If ventilation is poor or cleaning has been skipped, the controls overheat and misbehave, so we check it on every visit.
