Repairs this series usually needs
- OPEN PROBE or SHORTED PROBE on the display
- BELT JAM and a stopped conveyor
- Oven not reaching temperature
- Uneven bake from clogged air fingers
The Impinger I 1400 series is a family of conveyor ovens with the digital Advantage control, including the FastBake versions. The data plate carries a number between 1400 and 1474, such as a 1450 or 1456. Whether a given number is gas or electric is something we confirm from the plate before a visit.
The same display messages found on the Advantage Digital 1100 appear here. Probe messages send us to the chamber sensor, its wiring and the control input. A belt message sends us to the drive. A gas oven that will not heat gets the gas supply and ignition checked before any part is ordered.
These are older ovens in many kitchens. We repair them, we give a written price first, and we say so when a repair is not sensible.

The number alone does not always tell you. The data plate does, so read it for us when you call. We confirm the fuel before we plan the visit.
What display messages does a 1400 oven show?
The Digital Advantage control shows messages such as OPEN PROBE, SHORTED PROBE and BELT JAM. Each tells us where to start looking, though testing confirms the actual cause.
Are air fingers part of a repair?
Fingers that clog from grease and flour cause uneven baking. Cleaning them and reassembling them correctly often restores an even bake without any part being replaced, so it is where we begin.
