Besides the GS, GL and GT, Vulcan makes tilting floor kettles and counter kettles that run on electric heat. Stationary gas kettles also come in 60, 80 and 100 gallon sizes. Give us the model on the data plate when you book.
An electric kettle that stays cold sends us to the supply, the controls and the heating elements, in that order. On a tilting kettle, the tilt mechanism and its seals also get a look. Scale on the water level parts causes trouble where water is hard.
Let any steam release and the kettle cool before anyone works near it. Let the kettle cool and the pressure release before we arrive. Tell us the capacity and the model when you call.

The controls, the contactor or the elements may need attention. Switch the kettle off and let it cool, then call us and we test each part in order.
