The Vitamix Drink Machine family includes the Drink Machine, the Drink Machine Advance and the Drink Machine MP. They are bar blenders used for frozen drinks. Some are still current and many older units still work behind bars.
Power should be off at the outlet before the container comes off or the blade is checked. A motor that stops may have overheated from a heavy load of ice or poor airflow. A leak at the base points to the blade assembly seal. Noise often means a worn drive socket.
Bar blenders handle ice all night, so seals, sockets and motors wear. A written price comes first, and we tell you honestly when a repair is not worth it. We look at the cord and switch as well.

Why does my bar blender stop?
Heavy ice or poor airflow can overheat the motor. Let it cool and use smaller loads, and call us if it keeps stopping. Ask us when you call.
Does ice shorten a blender's life?
Heavy ice loads strain the motor and wear the socket, so give it rest between drinks and avoid overfilling the container.
